EPEAT Products Now Registered For China

Five manufacturers now have products in the EPEAT database for China. This represents ~400 models of computers and monitors. The manufacturers are HP/Compaq, Lenovo, NEC, Oracle/Sun, and TPV. Lenovo and TPV are Chinese companies.
By comparison, there are ~2000 EPEAT registered models in the United States from ~30 manufacturers and ~350 models in Japan from four manufacturers.
The availability of EPEAT for China should spur China's low rate of Green ICT purchasing.
